[REVIEW] Dyu Know What? O.o

Dyu Know What? ¬.¬” <WHY NOT?>

Do you know what sucks? ¬.¬

“Yeah, a vacuum! ^^ Right?” No seriously…
The lack of P-pop and P-pop awareness!!!

P-pop is as awesome as K-pop and T-pop and stuff! I’m a newbie in the Filipino music scene… I listened to a little last year and it wasn’t my kinda thing. But cuz there wasn’t really any info available to me, I totally skipped it. Recently a friend told me about some P-pop groups she listens to, and directed me towards RPM’s Para Sa’yo and fyi it’s awesome!!! That one song fully converted me to P-pop! So I was bored today and I remembered one of the groups mentioned: XLR8. I thought *ah~ let’s listen ne? I need a break from replaying Block.B & B1A4’s mini albums* So I clicked on “It’s Time to XLR8” and… hello good music! Seriously!!! I’m declaring *fan status* already! I love my K-pop and all, but T-pop (well the few groups/singers I’ve heard, cuz I only really listen to the Kz [Kamikaze] artists and a few others like Candy Mafia) and P-pop have english in their songs that makes sense! Not like “if you wanna pretty”, “fantastic, elastic”, “Mazeltov, Monday Tuesday… Wednesday, Thursday. Friday Saturday Sunday” (I know…Mazeltov is NOT an english word) and other fun things like that! ^^” I kid! I love SHINee and ZE:A!!! ^^ But back on topic! P-pop is a YES in my books, and I want to see a lot more of it around! For those of you who don’t P-pop yet…

It’s Time to XLR8!!! ;]

So… ;] Do you know now?

Block B… The place to B! [REVIEW]

The day a lot of new.gen fans have waited for… and plenty of K-hiphop fans too! Block B returned and didn’t disappoint with their album: New Kids On The Block. I know THE MOST un-original name ever! XDDD But *luckily* it doesn’t reflect the quality of the songs in it.

New Kids On The Block [REVIEW]

I’m sure we all remember their standard K-pop song “Geudaero Meomchwola!” and the rap attack that was “Wanna B”. These are on the mini album as well as the smoothly mixed rap and vocal song previously released “Naman Ireongeoya”.

New additions: Halo, Gaseo Jeonhae, and U Hoo Hoo.

Halo » I waited for the comeback expecting Halo to have the MV *how wrong I was* XDDD Halo does not disappoint Hip-hop fans. If you’re a fan of Big Bang’s older songs and retro YG ent stuff I’d totally recommend Block B!!! And after listening to Halo you can’t help but join in: “HaLo HaLo HaLo!” XD

Gaseo Jeonhae » When it starts up you’ll probably thinking “WTH? O.o” but just let it play out, you won’t regret! Great rap verse flows mixed with a fun K-pop chorus makes a pretty great Summer song!!! ^^ Even though I’m sick I wanted to get up and dance to it XD The MV was pretty well matched too *kekeke~ well played promos ne!*

U Hoo Hoo » I know, I know… I cringed at the name too >.< But don’t judge a book and all that ne~ This song has a nice RnB style showcasing some beautiful vocals from the members. I know I found my self mimicing the “youuu~” part! XDDD The lyrics are really easy to get into ^^ such a good contrast to Gaseo Jeonhae.

Overall this was a great album! I really enjoyed it and hope other K-pop fans will too!!! ^^ Block B brought some awesome variety into the new.gen K-pop scene!

*BONUS MINI REVIEW* B2ST & SHINee!!!

B2ST - Mystery (80KIDZ Remix) » a bonus song on the “Bad Girl” JP single I believe… It’s pretty good actually. I usually don’t like remixes, but this is a good dance mix.

SHINee - Hello (JP ver.) » SHINee’s Japanese is great as usual. But I’m not crazy about the new lyrics… “Who knows? I know! You know!” Hm… I usually prefer the original language anyway! It’s just preference~ XD Quite a flawless transition though! *Ganbatte SHINee!* ^^
